Kazam is a screen recording program that captures desktop content and saves it as a video file playable in any standard media player. It records the entire screen, individual windows, or selected areas, with optional audio capture from microphone or speaker input. The tool supports multiple video formats (VP8/WebM, H.264/MP4, and AVI) and includes keyboard shortcuts for quick access. Kazam also offers webcam recording capabilities, screenshot functionality, and the ability to display visual indicators for mouse clicks and key presses during recordings.
