Ford is expanding its connected vehicle technology with the launch of Ford Pro AI, a new assistant integrated into the company’s Ford Pro Telematics platform. The tool is designed to help fleet managers monitor driver behavior and improve safety across commercial vehicles, starting with one of the most basic but critical habits: wearing a seatbelt.

Rather than installing new hardware, the system works by analyzing data already generated by connected Ford vehicles. By interpreting signals such as seatbelt latch status, vehicle speed, and trip duration, the AI assistant converts raw telematics data into clear reports and alerts that fleet operators can use to improve driver compliance and overall safety.

Ford Pro AI sits on top of the telematics data collected from connected commercial vehicles and translates it into easy-to-understand insights for managers.
