In the fast-evolving world of online education, Coursiv has started turning heads as a next-generation learning platform designed for modern learners and creators. Promising an intuitive interface, AI-assisted learning paths, and affordable course access, Coursiv positions itself as a serious alternative to giants like Coursera, Udemy, and Skillshare.
But does it actually deliver on its promise?
In this detailed Coursiv Review, we’ll explore everything from course quality, user experience, and instructor support to pricing, pros, cons, and real student feedback to help you decide whether Coursiv deserves your time and trust in 2025.
In essence, Coursiv is a subscription-based educational platform that claims to teach you how to use various AI tools (prompting, generative art, workflow automation, etc.) through bite-sized lessons, quizzes, and guided prompts. According to the App Store listing, the content is designed to be interactive, beginner-friendly, and includes “real-world case studies.”
Course Structure & Content Dept
The layout is clean, modules are broken into digestible chunks this helps avoid information overwhelm. However, once I moved beyond the first few lessons, the content started feeling very surface level. There’s a lot of theory and prompts, but I struggled to find actionable, advanced strategies. Some users have called it “a bunch of basic overviews” or “fill-in-the-blank material with no real depth.”

They often advertise low initial trial or teaser prices. But users have complained about aggressive auto-renewals and “gotcha” billing.
Multiple complaints indicate that even after cancellation, charges continued. One user said: “I was charged again $80 this time even though I cancelled and email with screenshot.

Many users report that refund requests are denied, citing “terms and conditions” and “discretionary policies.”
Others say the support is slow to respond or gives generic replies.
On the flip side, there are a handful of positive user reviews praising clarity and ease of use. Trustpilot, for instance, shows several users giving 4–5 stars, calling the lessons “logical” and “well organized.”
User Rating
Reviews.io shows 102 reviews with an average rating of 4.29 / 5.
On Sitejabber, Coursiv has a 4.9 ★ rating from ~7,900 users, though such aggregate scores should be taken with cautious optimism (promotional filtering possible)
On the App Store, user feedback is mixed: some praise its usability, others warn about poor value or refund issues.

These harsh critiques are repeated across Reddit, review forums, and app store comments. To be fair, a few users counter with more positive takes especially if you’re an absolute novice but the negative ones are too frequent to ignore.
I entered this review hoping to find a hidden gem an affordable way to really get hands-on with AI tools. What I found instead is a cautionary lesson in differentiating marketing shine from substance. If you’re completely new and curious, Coursiv might give you a flavor of what’s possible. But don’t assume it’s a long-term solution or deep learning path.
My take? Use Coursiv only with full awareness of its limitations. Start with the lowest commitment (or trial), never hand over automatic-renew credit cards unless you’re ready to monitor closely, and be prepared that most of its value will likely lie in helping you decide which AI tool you want to dig
